Aerial photo of Lake Ogechie near Mille Lacs Lake where the Rum river begins. Wec can see stream flow into lake through a swamp with a light coad of snow. Lake is mostly open with some large chunks of ice in the center.

Just before sundown, the water is completely still on Lake Minnetonka, A tree casts a perfect reflection in the lake, with an empty harbor behind it. The tree is on a small island just off shore.
